Coderetreat is, on its creator Corey Haines own words, a day-long, intensive practice event, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design. The idea is to provide developers with the opportunity to practice the basic principles of modular and object-oriented design without the every day pressures and distractions.

Last April we started working for Random House Mondadori, the editorial group. The projects we do for them are developed in three lines.

Wordpress is an open source tool that permits to be modified and adapted to the preferences and needs of every one. For this reason, it is especially useful for those projects in which time-to-market is very tight, and also for those that are based on a blog.
The Agile Barcelona community, with whom we collaborate frequently, proposed to organize a Coding Dojo in Barcelona.
For those who are not familiar with the concept, Coding Dojo are meetings that are held periodically in different cities. Basically, a bunch of programmers get together to work on a programming challenge: resolving a kata, that is an algorithmic problem, with the only purpose of having fun and improve the programming skills.
